Timperley of Hintlesham, Suffolk, England

Timperley of Hintlesham, Suffolk, England

Quarterly gules, and argent, in the first quarter an escallop or.

The Coat of Arms of the Hintlesham family is as follows:
Blazon: Quarterly gules, and argent, in the first quarter an escallop or. (as pictured above)
Crest: A demi-lion rampant holding a branch of red roses.
Motto: Praevide Provide ne Praeveniare
A translation of the Motto of the Hintlesham family "Praevide Provide ne Praeveniare" is as follows:
Praevide = see to it in advance
Provide = with foresight
ne Praeveniare = that no one beats you to it, "it" being anything you're trying to do.
A punchier translation would be simply "Get there first".

Origin of the Timperleys of Hintlesham

Where did this Timperley branch originate? So far, it is still open to conjecture. The information below is from "Timperley of Hintlesham a study of a Suffolk family", pp. 141-142, which itself was attributed to " Visitation of Suffolk", (College of Arms), and to "Visitation of Suffolk", 1561-1612, ed. Metcalfe, p. 170.

This branch of the Timperley family held the manor of Hintlesham in the township of Hintlesham, Suffolk, England from 1454 to 1720, before leaving for France.  Several family members are buried at St. Nicholas church in Hintlesham. Within the church are several monuments to the Timperley's of Hintlesham.

Is the Thomas below identical with or descended from Thomas Massi de Timperley of 1363 who sealed a deed with the Massy arms (Quarterly argent and gules, a bend azure, differenced by a fleurde-lis in the second quarter) or is this Thomas descended through a cadet son of Sir John Timperley (circa 1270)?
