Family History

This family was active in the silk industry during the 19th century. Family lore tells that a Timperley in this family (father of Edward, but name unknown) worked on Queen Victoria's wedding dress for her marriage to her first cousin Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha in 1840.
