I have found some old notes written by my grandfather. His name was Frank Timperley and he was born at Winsford, Cheshire Co. England January 31, 1889. Moving to Timperley Cheshire, he attended Christ church public school and Altrincham High School. Graduating in 1905, he went to Kings College London where upon graduating in 1910 he enlisted in the Church Army. In 1914 he was called to Ireland, served 1 1/2yrs Evangelist. He came to the USA in 1915. The note that I am referring to was written in Little Compton RI. I do not know where he landed when he arrived in USA. He married Frances Florence Elizabeth Mc Clintock (b 3/17/1893). She came from Ireland. Her parents were William Mc Clintock and Louisa Emma Bernack. My grandmother had 3 children. The 1st died as a baby in Maine (Rumery I think?). The 2nd Francis G. Timperley married Ruth (maiden name removed by WebMaster) they had 4 children; Kenneth, Elizabeth Ann, Robert, and Linda. The 3rd, John Stanley Timperley was born in Jackman Maine (my father). He married Cora M. (maiden name removed by WebMaster), and they had two children (myself) William John Timperley and Laurie Jean Timperley. This is all I know about my name.
