David Timperley is an excellent resource for gaining information on your own family. He has taken it upon himself to research the Timperley/Temperley family name for the Society of One Name Studies. His address is below. If you include a self addressed stamped envelope and a specific request about an ancestor you are looking for (not general information) he is sure to reply. You may get a more favorable response if you supply him with some information about your own research. The Air Mail Postage rate from England to the US (in UK postage) for 1997 was 96p (more information on buying UK stamps).
