name Temperley (apart from Timperley)
is frequently spelled Temperly. The most births appear to be on record at
Hexham area, Lee St. John, Edmundbyers, and Hunstanworth (Co Durham). Fallowfield It is widely held that the core of the 'Fallowfield' Temperleys originate from George Temperley and Ann Errington, who were married at Lee St. John, Northumberland, on 8 May 1707. Adjacent Lineages Lineages in proximity, some of which are unlinked, are referred to generally as the 'Hunstanworth' lineage, the 'George Allison Temperley' lineage which migrated to Argentina, and the 'Bolton and New South Wales' lineage referred to in a letter by one Tho.
