[circa 1683]
* * *
Thought to have been christened 29 Apr 1687, no supporting documentationextent. An email by rsr EW recalls notes whereby the entry read forGeorgius .......lee c 29th April 1687 Hexham father William.Regarding George #13's father, family events in the later generationsindicate a possibility that there may have been Hexham area residences,or perhaps Corbridge between St. John Lee and Hexham.
A Temperley Grange exists outside of Hexham on the way to Corbridge, atthis time whether the borders of that area circa 1687 were includedwithin Hexham as stated on registers is unknown, or if they shifted tolater is unknown.
Temperley Grange presents an interesting clue for the family in that itis not known who the first Temperley to live there was.
